Besides my occasional blogwhore binges, another hobby I enjoy is making music. So when I saw this, I bugged out as any good music dork should. Here's the description:
" The reactable, is a multi-user electronic music instrument with a tabletop tangible user interface. Several simultaneous performers share complete control over the instrument by moving physical objects on a luminous table surface. By moving and relating these objects, representing components of a classic modular synthesizer, users can create complex and dynamic sonic topologies, with generators, filters and modulators, in a kind of tangible modular synthesizer or graspable flow-controlled programming language." My heart and ears and brain are all a twitter simultaneously. This thing is fucking amazing. It's like Star Trek meets Blue Man Group at a Rave. Where do I sign? I'd sell my kidney for one of these. Or at least someone else's kidney.
