I read about this a while ago and finally found a long clip to post. Back in the day Tim and Eric made a video with Eric Fensler (the Gi-Joe PSA dude) that they sold to Sci-Fi Channel where they took footage from the old-school Tokusatsu series "Space Giants" and reworked it into 7 minutes of retro surrealist zen comedy. Check it out. Wish I could see more of these!
